Reality. Truth. Honesty.
I’ve been crying every day lately, whether I’m happy or sad. It’s fine. Hormones are cool, and especially when you don’t know if its just PMS or Pregnancy it’s even more cool.
Ok, so whatever, it happens. Sometimes you just need a good cry and whether you’re crying happy tears or sad or tired, it happens. So how do we choose to pull ourselves out of it?
In this time of uncertainty, it’s ok to let ourselves feel our feelings, but we can’t live in them. We can’t let ourselves just fall into those feelings and stay there forever. When I feel sad, instead of stifling those feelings, I am letting myself have the feeling and then I choose again, which I’m learning from reading the book Super Attractor, by Gabrielle Bernstein, who is teaching me it is OK to feel, but then you need to find a better feeling and choose to move into JOY.
I’m finding its easy these days to get overwhelmed with life, so doing whatever we can to choose joy and self care is SO important to be able to have mental stability and balance.
So if you are having feelings right now, it’s ok. Embrace them, let them happen and then move on. Know that you’re not alone in having feelings right now or feeling out of sorts, its ok. I’m with ya sister. Have a good cry and then pull up your big girl pants and handle the day!
