Wow! Everyone says the second trimester is the best, but after a first trimester full of daily puking, I had thin hopes that the early days of the second trimester would actually be much better.
BUT…
LAST NIGHT… I ate CHICKEN! Without wanting to puke. I’m not naive to think my aversions are completely gone, BUT I’m optimistic that they might be slowly going away!
Since crossing over into the second trimester a week and a half ago, I’ve had more better days that pukey days and for that I’m grateful. I’m even enjoying a cup of coffee as I sit here and write this, which was another aversion!

I started this blog just over 4 years ago, during a time when I was going through A LOT… I was struggling with my weight, with the desire to get engaged, with debt, with who i wanted to be as a real adult person. This blog got me through the tough stuff, being able to write, connect with others & share my deepest thoughts!
Since I started it, and as i grew my online business and then another one, I always knew I’d find my calling once I became pregnant and be able to share my journey through my presence.
I feel so at home, at peace and content with my life right now. Growing this sweet baby girl (oh yea… ITS A GIRL!!!!)

I’m so excited to share this journey here as I go through my pregnancy and motherhood. This feels so right and what I’ve been meant to do my whole life.
So as I move away from puking and the carb only diet, and into a more balanced lifestyle growing this human, I will share every step of the way!!
XOXO
